Completing A Most Remarkable Chapter In My Life

Family, Friends, Fans, Mom,

“Do you still write your blog?” you may ask. The objective answer is no. I stopped writing a daily blog ever since late July this year. To be fair, my original commitment was to write a daily blog until around July this year.

The original intent was to be awesome and spread helpful content (and maybe hopes of becoming an internet millionaire overnight).

The intent in hindsight was to try it out and see what happens. This goes for practically all the things that occurred from March to July of this year. It is easily the current #1 stretch of life I’ve yet to produce.

In that stretch of time I accomplished and created remarkable results and fulfillment. It was a glimpse into what’s possible through me. It’s both exactly what I expected and more than I could have expected.

However, as much as I want to hold onto the energy of that time, that time is now over. That chapter is complete.

No. Let’s rephrase that.

That chapter was the beginning of a whole new book in the series. It was a WHOLE new level, one I’d NEVER been to. And so now, the 1st chapter of the 2nd book in the series is now coming to a close with this here blog post.

I forget where, but I was once advised that we must let go of all things in our past in order to make space for the new. This includes both our triumphs and failures. That who we are changes, but we hold on to past versions of ourselves. Attached. Unable to move forward, trying to be something that doesn’t exist anymore.

Meaning this: the version of you that was in shape back in high school, is not going to be the same version of you that will get in shape 20 years later. Things change. What worked for you back then may not work now. And vice versa.

We must calibrate based on the now. Cause it is the version of who we are NOW that matters most. It is the version of our lives NOW that matters. The CURRENT relationships. The CURRENT responsibilities. Etc.

The energy and inspiration that generated the quantum leaps of action and results from March to July 2018 can be accessed, but the way it must be accessed may have changed. Many things have changed. Life is at least 50% different than it was 4 months ago.

Job is different. Sleep schedule. Level of freedom. Money is different. Daily commute. Music on my playlist. Time management. My inner circle. It’s ALL very different.

And because of that, I believe it’s clearly time to put a period on the last sentence of chapter 1 (open to edits and corrections of course). Closure. Completeness. Satisfaction. Success.

So…to all my family, friends, fans and my mom, this officially marks the end of the amazing saga called Chapter 1 of this new book. Luckily, we’re just getting started.

But for now, it’s time to live Chapter 2. Welcome. :)
